At the Syntopic Salon participating in the peeling of pomegranates becomes an option for visitors.
The Syntopic Salon is essentially a place connecting locations, cultures and thought patterns, open to the public but
      yet secluded.

Six chairs invite visitors to take a seat and join in the peeling. Shared work helps to connect the people performing
this task, and without any specific plan they start to talk to each other. Time is divided into a 6-part rhythm,
1:20 hours each. Some of the peelers have made an appointment for each part and thus constitute a basic team.
Although especially artists from Munich and Istanbul participating in CITYSCALE have been invited, additional
temporary passer-by participants are also welcome.
