Syntopic Salon, Munich September 19, 2010 Städtische Kunsthalle Lothringer 13, Munich     In 2010 realitaetsbüro was invited to continue the Spitsbergen Project as part of the project CITYSCALE Munich / Istanbul, an artistic exchange (2010: Kunsthalle Lothringer 13, Munich; 2011: Siemens Sanat, Istanbul, parallel event to Istanbul Biennial). With the connection Munich / Istanbul pomegranates appear in the project. Blood-red fruit which displays its seed so prominently.   Legend has it that every pomegranate contains 613 seeds, and thus 613 pomegranates have joined the project. Pealed and boiled, they have become part of Stockpiling 2022’s reserves. And one seed still remains from each pomegranate.     -->  1st Day   -->  2nd Day   Pomegranates (The Vanguard) showcases increasing stock as a public event, which is able to involve people in actual interaction.
