 The construction of the ark became necessary in order to allow as many places as possible to survive the imminent demolition of the area. Within soilent ark‘s three chambers, realitaetsbüro prepared for the move. Evacuates the places along Birketweg. Makes them transportable - and takes them along. Ruderal plants extract the places form the soil, function as a storage medium for the area’s substance. Debris and mortar. The modest plants feed on everything that is there. Judge differently on what is "clean" and "valuable". Bloom where others dig for gold. Through the Ruderal plants, the soilent ark transports the places with their very essence. In May 2008, realitaetsbüro communicates soilent ark to the public. The 3 chmabers are presented at the industrial hall of the cultural project NEULAND. The demolition begins in August 2008.
